Dangerous file blocking

We have a dangerous file blocking filter setup to prevent the following file types from passing through the Transport Servers:

*.vbs

*.shs

*.lnk

*.pif

*.exe

*.scr

*.com

*.js

The filter is setup to strip the files from the emails and place them into the Quarantine folder in PureMessage.  The attachments can be released from the Quarantine if confirmed to be valid.

User Experience

When a file is removed by PureMessage the attachment will be replaced by a .txt file.  The contents of this file will resemble the following:

FILE QUARANTINED

Sophos PureMessage for Exchange Server removed a file since it was found to match a filter.

File name: "123.exe"

Filter name: "FILE FILTER= Dangerous File Blocking: *.exe"
